Jerry Rumplick AIA Project Architect
Mr. Rumplick’s thirty years of experience has been in a design-build arena since leaving the University of Buffalo in 1986. Through the years, his employment has been with a majority of construction and commercial/residential development firms. Most projects through the years have been designed, developed and constructed by the firm he is working for. This has aided Mr. Rumplick in acquiring substantial knowledge in areas of site acquisition and development, site planning and zoning, budget development and analysis, permit process expediting, along with experience of on-site construction management. Mr. Rumplick has presented numerous projects to Planning, Zoning and Architectural Review Boards. The relationship with all design consultants has not only been cultivated through the design process but elevated through the entire construction process. A key component of Mr. Rumplick’s success is having every design professional involved from the inception to the final clean-up of every project which has benefitted the building owners with projects that are on time and on budget.
Ana Marroquin Architectural Draftsman
Ms. Marroquin was born in Guatemala where she lived and worked before moving to the US. She received her bachelor’s degree in Architecture from La Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. Her abroad experience includes residential, retail, hotelier, urban, temporary architecture in public spaces and interior design. Prior to joining CHD as Architectural Draftsman she worked at Desarrollos Ketzal, an office based in Guatemala. While there, she had the opportunity to work on several impact projects for the city; for instance, the first bus terminal (LEED certified building) and 5 different Hyatt Place Hotels in Central America. Ana also worked with the Guatemala Municipality on urban projects as assistant manager of Fairs and Exhibitions and created the first Urban Master Plan with a 5 year projection for one of the main cities in Guatemala. Her drawing skills include conceptual 2D drawing, construction plans and 3D models in order to improve the project visualization. She is pro efficient at AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, Photoshop, Lightroom and always keeping up with technologies.
Jim Behringer Senior Project Manager
Mr. Behringer received his Bachelors in Construction Management at Roger Williams University. In addition to education, he has accrued over a decade’s worth of experience in the construction industry. Prior to his employment at CHD he has worked on several large scale projects consisting of Hospital Additions and Renovations for St. Francis Hospital, Luxury High Rise Condominium, The Visionaire in Battery Park as well as the addition to the PS42 Educational facility in Arverne NY for the NYSCA. Supervision, coordination, maintaining field records, contracts, drawings, specifications, progress reports, controlled inspections are all skills he honed prior to coming to work for CHD. Now under the employment of CHD as the construction project manager, Jim has been coordinating all aspects of the construction process including hiring contractors, working with engineers, architects and vendors. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, as well as local and state codes are met. Jim has brought the following projects from design to completion; New Apostolic Church in Woodbury, Rebuilt over 20 custom homes after hurricane Sandy in Breezy Point, Interior commercial renovation for Arkwin Industries in Westbury as well as 9 luxury custom homes in the Village of Floral Park. Ensuring that all projects were completed on time and within budget. Mr. Behringer is a Registered NYC Construction Superintendent, Licensed with Suffolk County Home Improvement and OSHA Construction Safety Certified.
